London feed wheat for March 2025 fell to £171.00, down 4.0% from last week's closing price of £178.05. This market pressure follows easing of weather concerns, from the expectation that recent snow cover has safeguarded wheat crops in the US and Russia against the cold. The carry to July 2025 narrowed to £11.80.

On Hectare Trading we are beginning to see farmers clean out sheds of old crop, getting storage areas ready for the new season, as well as starting to forward sell new crop. Feed wheat received offers up to £200 in the South West for December 2026 movement, while price offers reached £195 in North East Scotland for March 2025.

Paris milling wheat for March 2025 declined to £181.93 (€220.50), a 2.8% drop from last week's closing price of £187.09 (€226.75), driven by competitive Black Sea exports and sluggish European demand. The carry to May 2025 narrowed to £5.98.

Group 3 wheat received price offers up to £200 in the East of England for December 2025 movement. Group 4 (Hard) wheat saw offers up to £193 in North East Scotland for March 2025 movement, while Group 4 (Soft) wheat reached price offers up to £211 in the East of England for August 2025 movement.

Paris rapeseed for May 2025 climbed to £444.10 (€538.25), up 1.5% from £437.50 (€530.25) last week. Meanwhile, August 2025 rapeseed also saw a rise to £414.40 (€502.25), gaining 0.5% from last week’s closing price of £412.33 (€499.75). Low supply and robust European demand were the driving forces behind market support. The August to November carry sits at £1.86. On Hectare Trading, OSR was offered £402 in the North East for November 2025 movement.

Elsewhere on Hectare Trading, feed barley price offers reached £172 in North East Scotland for February 2025 movement, and feed barley (2-row) was offered £171 in the North East for March 2025 movement. Rye prices reached £151 in Central Scotland for March 2025 movement, and milling oats price offers approached £151 in the South West for April 2025 movement, while feed beans received offers up to £220 in the West Midlands for March 2025 movement.
